What is Inner Alignment Hypnotherapy
Hypnotherapy is the natural, safe and expedient way for change and modification
Hypnosis is normal state of the mind in which the body experiences a state of deep physical relaxation while the mind remains clear, alert and focused. In this altered state of awareness, the subconscious mind becomes open and suggestible.
A person naturally enters this state many times during a normal day – just most of us are not aware that it is happening. How many times have you been thinking about something while driving your car and suddenly realized that your exit was 3 miles back? Most of us go to the movies and get so caught up in the drama of the story we forget that we are only watching a movie. Most of us daydream from time to time.
Can anyone be Hypnotised ?
The answer is yes ! Some are hypnotized more easily than others. However whether they are hypnotized or not will be subject their degree of willingness to be hypnotized and to allow themselves into the process. Imagine if you would a couple engaged in a Ballroom Dance, one leads and the other follows. What happens then if one party decided not to follow ?
Hence also no one can be hypnotized without their willingness or consent.
What will I feel during Hypnosis ?
For most it will be just like being in a wonderful daydreaming state, yet will still be aware of what is going on around them. The experience of hypnosis though can vary dramatically from
one person to another.
Some hypnotized individuals report feeling a sense of detachment or extreme relaxation during the hypnotic state, while others even feel that their actions seem to occur outside of their conscious volition. Other individuals may remain fully aware and able to carry out conversations while under hypnosis.
Individuals can hear everything that is going on around them, and can also hear all of the suggestions that are being given.
Will anyone remember much after Hypnosis ?
Most people remember everything that went on while they were in hypnosis, but sometimes, if they went into a particularly deep state, they may forget aspects of what happened or remember part.
Sometimes (and if) the hypnotist suggests that they will forget what happened, and they do so.
What sort of changes may I expect post Hypnotherapy ?
Changes and results can be instantaneous or incremental over time and really vary from person to person. This is dependent on how the subconscious mind processes the change. It’s good to consider that while changes may have taken effect at a subconscious level, the conscious mind can remain ever critical until affirmative evidence is displayed.
How many sessions of Hypnotherapy will I require ?
This will be dependent on each individual case as every person and conditions are different. Some cases can be effectively addressed in one session sessions while some people can achieve their goal in more sessions.
How long is each Hypnotherapy session?
Do allow for anywhere from 1 to 2 hours .. The 1st session may take up to 2 hours. Case depending follow up sessions may take around 1 hour
Will I cluck like a chicken or bark like a dog ?
Can I can be made to say or do something against my will ?
If you are asking this, then fiction and media tales have had an obvious impact or you’ve seen a stage show where a hypnotist made people do all these crazy things.
Hypnosis cannot make you do something that is against your morals or ethics and generally, people won’t do anything which goes against their personal values or beliefs. Your natural defences in your mind will also prevent this from happening.
You have to want the change, agree with the change, hypnosis can then be the instrument for helping make that change better, faster, and permanent.
What if the hypnotist can’t wake me up?
Despite what we might be led to believe by tales of fiction and media, this is not at all possible.
In the absolute worst case, assuming that you reach a profound state of hypnosis and do not respond to the hypnotist’s request to wake up, your trance will eventually make a transition to normal sleep and you will wake up just as you would from sleep. Even this occurrence is exceedingly rare, it is generally more difficult to awaken someone from a sound sleep than it is to awaken someone from even a deep hypnotic trance.
